Fishing

Just a short distance away from the Lochinvar Hotel is the River Ken and Loch Ken, suitable for both coarse and game fishing. Loch Ken is the place to go coarse fishing for Pike, Roach and Bream, whilst River Ken is well known locally for its game fishing of Trout and Salmon.

A number of local angling clubs hold meetings at the Lochinvar and it is rare not to find a fisherman in the public bar!

A number of privately owned lochs and fisheries are close by too, offering year round fishing. We will happily advise you on the best places to fish.
