Dumfries and Galloway has many fine golf courses, the closest being in New Galloway, just 3 miles away. Other courses can be found in Castle Douglas, Dumfries, Thornhill, Kirkcudbright, Dalbeattie and Gatehouse of Fleet to name but a few.

There is a choice of 30 courses in Dumfries and Galloway for all abilities, where you can play anything from just a few holes to as many rounds as you like. There are also driving ranges and golf professionals on hand to teach you a thing or two, should you need it!. Less than 45 minutes away is the Ayrshire coast, home to Turnberry and Royal Troon, where the British Open was held in 2004.
